Hello,
A bit About Me
I am a BACP registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Mental Health Practitioner. I have worked within mental health settings for over 15 years, including within the NHS and local authorities. My experience working in Counselling & Psychotherapy services includes working at HELP Counselling Centre (Notting Hill) and CRI Substance Misuse Treatment Centres. Working with charitable and community-based organisations, has supported my holistic approach to working with clients in my private practice.

My core training is in Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
I hold a BACP accredited Diploma from Re-Vision. As a registered member of the BACP, I work in accordance with their Code of Ethics and framework for practice.

Inspired by my background in Film/TV & Performing Arts, I use creative methods in the therapeutic process, to facilitate expression of the parts of ourselves, we can be yet to discover. I work creatively with imagery, written word/poetry, sound, movement and dreams. As well as using body work, to mindfully attune to your story and give space to what is yet to be processed.
The body holds what we can often find difficult to express. Our past and present experiences or ways of coping may make it difficult to feel & connect with our bodies. We are all unique and each have our individual internal landscape.

Therapy can create the safety for connecting with what has been difficult to face. We can gain awareness of what we feel and what the meaning is for our own story.

I welcome clients from a wide range of backgrounds and have worked with individuals with diverse experiences. Championing inclusion in therapy is important to me and my work.
